What's on at The Globe

Silent Victory - Saturday 3rd March

Silent Victory is an original melodic rock band from the Northwest. Heavily influenced by classic rock of the 70’s and 80’s, they have a unique style of their own – it’s really hard to say exactly who they sound like! Even the guys in the band with each give you different opinions!

Hell's Addiction & The New Breed Saturday 10th March

Hell's Addiction
Hell's Addiction deliver classic no-bullshit Rock and Roll in a style that draws comparison with the likes of AC/DC, Guns 'n Roses, Skid Row and early-Mötley Crüe.
Latest album - BROKEN - available now

The New Breed

THE NEW BREED are a fresh, Rock N Roll band from the North West of England, encompassing everything great about the 70s and 80s of music, whilst driving proper Rock N Roll into a modern era. They play what they love listening too, but live to play live! With a huge source of inspiration spread out across the band, their music is both congenial and intriguing all at once.

George Fell Friday 23rd Febuary

With his unique fingerpicking guitar technique combining sweet, rapid melodic runs with driving locomotive rhythm, George Fell has been mesmerizing UK audiences with his instrumentals and arrangements for almost a decade. Originally developing his technique from early Blues and Country recordings, Fell has extensively explored the capacity of the guitar as a solo instrument. His versatility as a guitarist has lead to a colourful back catalogue of collaborations, including numerous performances with Bez (Happy Mondays), making guest appearances on Manchester Hip Hop mixtapes and recently touring with DJ Yoda as part of his collaborative album project “Breakfast of Champions”, which was play-listed on 6music and performed at major UK venues and festivals. Fell’s debut solo EP “George Fell-From Grace” was launched on 22nd May 2016. His solo performances display a vividly refreshing approach to the guitar and leaves audiences enthralled and exhilarated.

Fell also works as an artist metalworker and studio assistant with his father, Brian Fell, a leading UK sculptor. They have created a vast array of steel sculptures for public and private commission around the UK, based at their studio in Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

Matty James Cassidy (Acoustic) & Amy Griffiths

Matty James Cassidy
is a young singer-songwriter-musician from N. Ireland who pens and performs heart-felt, sing-along, tale-telling, rabble-rousing songs you can hang your hat on. With self-released albums, hundreds of gigs across the UK and Europe and appearances at major festivals all under his belt, his experience far surpasses his years. Originally a drummer, playing in pubs and clubs across Ireland from the age of 13, Matty set sail for England a few years later and picked up the acoustic guitar as a tool to write songs. This led him down the path of the modern day troubadour, playing his own brand of folk rock n’ roll all over the country and beyond, both solo and now backed by a full band. He has also worked with Pat McManus (Mama’s Boys), Ricky Warwick (Thin Lizzy) and Tyla J. Pallas (The Dogs D’Amour).
